“Circuit Breaker” in Singapore: How are Japanese coping?

Some of our Japanese friends have been working from home like the rest of Singapore, as others who are restaurant owners struggle with dwindling business. Akadot TV conducted zoom interviews with a few members of the Japanese community in Singapore last week, to find out how they are coping with the “Circuit Breaker” measures.

“Circuit Breaker” measures were put in place by the government on 7 April 2020, in order to combat the spread of COVID-19. Schools and offices are shut, and only essential service providers that support daily needs (eg. F&B outlets, supermarkets) remain open.
