Evacomics is a web comic series that first rose to fame with its “Japan versus Singapore” comparison comic strips, which presented cultural differences in everyday life between the two countries with a light-hearted and witty narration. The well-loved series was also published in compilation books “Eva, Kopi and Matcha” (2014) and “Eva, Kopi and Matcha 2.0” (2017). Comic artist Evangeline Neo shares about her experience in Japan and the people she met, that inspired the stories and characters in her work.
