The Japanese University Graduates Association of Singapore (JUGAS) marks its 50th Anniversary this year. The association has been active in providing networking opportunities for graduates from Japan since its formation in December 1970, and it was also awarded the Japan Foreign Minister’s Commendation in 2005 for its contributions to the promotion of friendship between Singapore and Japan. Mr. Koh Chuan, who was one of the original founding members and the very first Hon Secretary, shared with us their founding story.
